It has been 19.5 hours, we still do not have a room.

20.5 hrs and we got a semi private room. Hopefully can get a full room tomorrow. At least she can sleep on a bed...

Update: Able to see a doctor 11 hrs after arriving

We are still waiting on a room to open up 14 hours later, she's confirmed to need to stay for a few nights.

Like I have nothing against any the medical staff, a lot of them have been very kind. It’s just like, I can’t help but think like “How’d it get this bad? How has no one important just walked into a hospital and thought “this really needs to be fixed!”

I’ll reiterate, this a pretty nice hospital in a nice area. If it’s this bad, I can’t imagine how royally f*cked it is elsewhere…

I think it’s just overcrowded, a couple we talked to earlier that got the wife a room were saying the doctors were saying they were so full they had a hall full of patients on beds just waiting around for a room to open

Going on 8+ hrs now, finally got her some pain medicine. Says it’ll be about another 3 hrs or so till she can get a room

Only thing I could say is despite this general… terribleness… is that atleast folks are willing to help each other out. No politics, no Karens, no selfishness. Everyone here is equal… equally getting screwed.

No there, was no major disaster or accident where I live. The air/water here is also some of the best in the state. People are just… really sick.
