disney has some sort of free dining going on /sometime/ but not sure when. universal has a discounted food card for Mardi Gras but they have been offering that for years.
that's actually a great question! what sort of scale would this be rolled out? "free soda" at sit down and counter service restaurants only? would people still be lazy and buy a bottle if they have to walk to a central distribution center? 🤔
there's a new theme park opening between them and the airport, the fact they haven't locked down a replacement for Magical Express blows my mind. i get the problems with the program as it was, but something else just makes sense?
IMHO Magical Express is the "OH SHIT WE NEED PEOPLE" parachute.
I really think they are waiting to see how much Epic pulls people before anything else.
it would be a challenge for such a large park, it's unknown if it's scalable to MK's 20m a year. imagine the new infrastructure, staffing, cleaning, how do police cups and reduce waste, etc
Sure. But imagine the headlines - it would really take the completion down a peg, even if it was limited time.
That’s $30 bucks back in your pocket and maybe that ups per capita spending a little? Plus I imagine they’d cut trams again to recoup some of that money, plus less parking booth staff.
