I feel like that makes it harder because you cannot reason with them. They don’t know they’re not very bright. They think they’re incredibly intelligent and righteous and they have tons of money and power. It’s a devastating combo

Yep. The more money and power you have, the less people ever challenge your shitty ideas. The less you fail and have to think through things and start over. The less introspective and empathetic you have to be. Money and power tend to stunt growth.

My dad worked for a while as a musician for Paul Allen and I got to see that scene a tiny bit. So many people were paid simply to make sure that dude never had to have a single inconvenience, a single negative feeling. The vibe changed when he walked into a room. It was terrifying
