The Woodland Plantation in LaPlace Louisiana, was the location of a historic slave revolt in 1811 that ended brutally. Now, the plantation is under black ownership for the first time since it was built in the 1700s-with an eye toward social justice. www.npr.org/2024/07/09/n...
