I then thought about how it'd be interesting to play a Scug who could climb walls vertically! If I had to balance this, I'd say I'd implement that he requires a bit more Food pips (less than Gourmand, but maybe akin to Hunter?), and certain surfaces they can't climb on.

He also has a tiny satchel! He can't store food in his stomach bc its weak, but the balance is that the satchel can store up to 3 small items! Neurons, small food, bat nip, etc. He can't store spears tho, too big/spikey lol.

There's also a lil data pearl tied to his tail; a trinket from his colony!

His campaign would be centered around him traveling long distances in the hopes of finding a more suitable home for his family. Idk where he'd be specifically in the timeline of things, but his playstyle would be heavily rewarded around deep exploration of the world.

I love this idea!! A character focused on the exploration aspect sounds amazing! Maybe could even have different endings with a variety of places to choose for your colony? 🤔
Another possible nerf I could imagine is him being bad at swimming/diving bc in most areas he'd just bypass the water anyway?
