Yes, partially. But this election *just* showed us that there is a limit to how much immigration the public will accept, and it's far lower than the number that will be needed.

Yeah, the plurality of Americans say they’re fine with (or even support more) legal immigration, but not ilegal immigration. So, expanding legal immigration could help fix both issues
Immigration also doesn't really solve the core problem, it just outsources it. Birth rates are dropping everywhere. You take in a bunch of younger immigrants and can maybe fix your own country's aging population problem but you just make it even worse in the countries the immigrants came from.
That really depends on the relative birth rates, though. If people are immigrating from places with rapidly growing populations, those countries’ emigration is mostly an issue of brain drain rather than pure demographics.
This answer sounds good, has some effect on the edges, and is IMO just generally a morally and practically good policy even if it doesn't work, but plenty of countries have tried this and it doesn't nearly solve the problem in full.
