like, it's literally impossible for me to write unless I'm in the grips of a lightning bolt of inspiration that comes on me basically once every couple of years. the thing in my bio about being creatively fallow rn is 100% legit. I'm not even trying because I know I can't force it.

so, you know, take everything I have to say about narrative and storytelling and put it in the context of someone who's written a couple hundred thousand words over their entire life, and most of that with other people's characters. yk.

INCREDIBLY valid tbh people are rude af about it when they think you’re getting too big for your britches. ridiculous tho bc Actual Training does NOT necessarily make a better writer.
