Ive bought 2, 3d printed bases that were so narrow on the head length chin to top of head. Are these for children!? I will rewarp them but won't buy again for those makers. Paying a premium for a 3d base only to have to rework it is silly - ThreadSky

Width for the one i bought was like nearly 12inches its a very triangular shaped opening, I'm going to warp the top of the head some see if i can get a better fit

Its just frustrating! But the heat gun should be more available for use than the sewing machine currently! Then it will be sanding time again

I have an old base that's real narrow that I'm retiring to widen, but I know there was a time like 7-8 years ago there were a lot of these tiny bases around and everything got bigger. Now it seams it's all getting tiny again. I wonder if it's trends.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's folks trying to do one shot print jobs on smaller printer beds. Thus making smaller models to do so.

One was just "standard" but my chin to top is 7 inches and i know I have a smaller head and even it didn't fit unless i have my chin out of base.

The other was upsized but my printer dude is new and it fits but you can't talk in it. I'm making it for my neices! So they can fight over it!😅
