some things you can dump 100% and other things may not be so easy.
if you can 100% dump something, do it. if you can't, reduce it as much as possible. i dumped spotify and starbucks permanently. i can only *mostly* dump amazon, so i only use it when i absolutely cannot get something elsewhere.

When it comes to boycotting, just a thought. It’s okay if you can’t quit a company cold turkey. In Master Gardeners, when we encourage people to switch to native plants, the goal is 70% native, not 100%. If you were shopping at a store 80% of the time and cut it back to 60%, that 20% still hurts.

if i don't *need* something, and amazon's the only option? i prob won't get it.
i don't replace things if they don't need replacing. i darn my socks. i wear my bedsheets out. i repair my hand braces, and wash compression garments gently so they last longer. etc.
it's an ongoing process to cut back on purchases.
but i can repair + stretch their survival for months and reduce my buying overall.
bit by bit, less things need to be bought.

Amazon is definitely the toughest but this is a nice reminder that cutting back is still doing something.
