I can also recommend the github cli! Most of github's functionality everywhere you have a terminal 🤯

I've been using GitHub CLI for a long time now, it's excellent.

I cannot create PRs but I've set gh alias to view my PRs.

Most of my PRs require detailed description, making markdown formats. Web or vs code is more reasonable for this.

For example, pasting links on text turn into markdown link. Using GitHub saved replies to fill in collapsible code sample, comparison tables, and highlights.

I usually file PR from GitHub web but this workflow might eliminate the need to switch between editor and web. The number of PRs would be just as before lol
