Iirc (and it was the 90s when I ran the heritage interpretation) the boiler room in the basement below the Thistle Chapel (where policemen reportedly hid during the opening ceremony, to deal with the Suffragette Threat) /-

was converted into a cafe (the Minister in my day insisted on 'restaurant') in the ?80's I think and the glass discovered then in the rubble and set into the window tracery in what in my day was the smoking section.
Have to wonder how much more was lost when the Thistle Chapel itself was built/-
I remember fighting to include them in my lil book on the Chapel (still referenced in the Wikipedia article, look for my name!) but I'm not sure they made it...
