Managed a well-timed ‘squeak-in’ of one of our passing barn owls. Circled twice right above me & the dog, looking straight into my soul at leisure, a hand’s reach away. Came back again 20 mins later, here… it’s not something I do often. But now & then, it’s the best magic…
