They were & the 🦃 males puffed up their plumage when we stopped so I could take pictures lol 😆 I heard them low grade cooing & squawking. We didn’t bug them for long 😅

Not really scary lol 😆 We were safe in our Jeep. Now if we had been walking in the open, that would have been a different story. Turkeys can be mean AF & I’ve been chased by some at one of my old job sites here in the Twin Cities. They would wait for people to come out of the building or their cars.
I never really get mad at wild animals. People technically have taken over their habitats & they are only protecting themselves. I have a big heart for nature & I don’t fault them. But in the moments of being chased I’m like FML 🤦♂️ I try my best to not disturb them 💜 Turkey 🦃🐣 babies are cute.
