Totally agree, but through a lottery? A lottery which name is known to be used by criminals as phishing device, used in scams in which people are contacted claiming they have won a prize? With police regularly warning about such scams???? Nah.

We understand your concern but almost any brand name can be used by criminals as a phishing device - banks, tax authorities, tech, etc., ad infinitum. When sustainable sources of income for investigative journalism are so hard to come by, we're prepared to give Bellingcat the benfit of the doubt.
