Artists, I need help!
Im happy with the prices I am making but...
I'm struggling with line consistency I see lots of art that makes use of different line thickness and I really want to emulate that but I have no idea how.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

° When drawing objects, take note of the lighting direction and thin out lines closer to light, while thickening those further away from light.
° When drawing objects, take note of the distance between the point of view and the object itself - thin lines out when an object is further away and thicken them when closer to the center of the image.
° if you use the lineart itself to emphasize shadows under objects, you have the choice between using crosshatching or using bolder lines where there is a relative patch of darkness.
Notice how the wrinkling on the soles of the feet have a rounded seam to show direct connection, but the seam between the left breast and upper arm is not rounded - they are judged further apart and not touching, so I did not round the corner.
That's good advice, if I plan out the composition a bit more before hand, including the direction of the light, I can then use the lines to play with that.
