There are so many new folks migrating here from The Bad Place, I’d love to make an introductions thread for all of us simmers to say something about ourselves and find more folks to follow!

I started playing the sims with the sims 2!
Currently doing my masters degree in interior design which is ironic because I can't build in the sims 😅
I wouldn't consider myself a storyteller, I just post what my sims are up to most of the times.
I just post chaotically 😭
I started with Sims 1 in 2001. Just reading the game manual on the ride back from Walmart I knew it would be fun. I have a cat, Light. Jake is my avatar, he passed in 2022.
✨Started with Sim 1 in 2000 and never looked back.
✨Builder, CAS player, Legacy Player and Challenges.
✨lover of dystopian/futuristic movies and shows
✨love music and to discover new music
✨excited to build and maintain friendships here
- sims 2 was the first sims game I played, sims 3 the first I owned, sims 4 my current favorite
- I mostly do BB and Live Mode
- I also love crochet, reading, anime, and camping
- I’m in college for my associates degree rn
- I’m shy about reaching out but love making new friends!
Started with the Sims 1, and even had a Simself back then, along with creating my boyfriend (who I'm still with now). Did get the Sims 2, but not until a while after it first came out, with my true obsession being Castaway on the PS2. Now I'm writing a Sims story on 4, having missed out 3.
Hi! My first game was sims medieval strangely 🤠
I play TS3 and TS4 rn and I can't really decide what I love more:)
I also watch lilsimsie extensively.
I would be very happy to make more simmer friends!!
Hello nice to meet you, I'm Mia🥰 My first sims game was Bustin Out on ps2. I usually go for ts2 or ts4. I love building specially with TOOL. I'm a huge cat fan, I have a four year old tabby named Munchi 🐱
Hi! 👋 I have been playing since Sims 1! My computer barely handled sims 2, totally skipped sims 3 and love Sims 4! Started when it came out and said uh no thanks then picked it back up about 2 years ago!
Gaming tastes varies, sims is a constant. Also love a good PVP horror game :)
Hi, I’m Violet 👋 I’ve been playing since the OG sims and have played every iteration of the game. My favorite is TS2 but I also have a soft spot for The Sims Medieval. I’m a huge fan of books, crocheting, and other cozy/comfort games. Nice to meet you! 🫶
I always wanted to play the Sims as a kid but wasn't able to get into it until the Sims 4 and played Sims 3 for about a year as well.
I love making stories for my Sims and building. ☺️🩷
started playing sims3 as an adult as a distraction as I got sick
have played computer games since the 80s
got sims4 when it got toddlers
Streams cozy games on twitch as much as disability allow
Love to just be with my dog
being creative is life giving, not only when creating food

I'm Roge from Brazil, and I play Sims since 2000. You'll find me posting my Rogefied sims (my own name for makeovers), sharing gameplay tips, posting gameplay (I LOVE legacies), some builds, and some random stuff just for fun!

Love this idea!
Started with the sims 3, couldn’t afford a lot of the packs so moved to sims 2, then moved to sims 4, spend most of my time in CAS as I can’t really build but I’m trying to learn. I currently work in the beauty industry but I’m starting a law degree next year as a mature student 🤍
the reason i didn't play sims 2 even though i had a computer that could handle it was because i was playing world of waarcraft for ten years and i had honestly forgot about the franchise until i saw an ad for world adventures
Been playing Sims religiously since I was 11 or 12 after randomly finding a copy of the OG Sims 1 + Hot Date at a garage sale. Had NO IDEA what it was, but I wanted it and I haven't looked back since! Didn't start filming or streaming until Sims 4, though.
I started with Sims 1, played all the console/handheld games, as well as the main titles.
Over the years, I've gotten quite frustrated with EA's handling of the franchise, but I will always love maxis and support the devs, along with our amazing modders/CC creators.
I'm an Over The Road truck driver. Basically, the truck is my house 😆
I am a die hard singleplayer gaymer.
Absolutely love horror and comedy movies, and all music.
Hi, I’m Para!
- Sims 3 was my first but I didn’t really get into it til Sims 4
- I’m mostly a builder but I enjoy making up stories for the people who live there
- I have 2 kitties and 10 pigeons
- I love learning random little facts
- I’ve been loving meeting new people here, it’s very welcoming 🥰
I love meeting other people who love pigeons! They are literally the sweetest birds, I love them so much! Mine enjoying climbing all over me and using me as a perch or dancing spot 😂
Played the original Sims when it came out and remember being amazed by the novelty of it. Then skipped all the way to Sims 4!
Mostly a builder, but lots of CAS recently.
Love reading and crochet.
Have the most adorable cat named Duncan (hence my name)💙
Probably historical fictions or a fantasy with a unique magic system. For crochet I like smaller things that I can finish up quickly. A blanket would take me forever!
Started with The Sims, but played most TS2.
Now mainly 4
Shy, foodie, bookworm.
Playing , storytelling, building and recoloring.
Love cats, dogs and horses irl.
Did I mention shy? I am trying...
oh.. and the favorite horror movie... Beauty and the Beast 😜
I loved TS2 so much! After playing TS3 for only a year, a moved on to TS4 because I starting seeing other people post their sims & builds, and I preferred it's look & style over TS3.
TS2 is the best game in the franchise. I really wanted 4 to be 2, just with better graphics and some upgrades like multitasking. I even miss having to buy clothes!

I'm retired.
I love Sci-Fi, nature, cats, reading, and coffee.
i'd play various sims games on other people's pcs/consoles.
when world adventures came out, i finally had a pc. the rest is history

- LOVED Sims 2 and kept playing it well into Sims 3’s lifespan
- Didn’t enjoy Sims 3
- Switched to Sims 4 almost as soon as it released, but didn’t play a ton until the pandemic, now have most of the packs.
- I play vanilla
My Cats like making frequent vocal drop-ins on stream and we just got a new Puppy 💗 I've never made a Self-sim.

- Don't really remember TS2 but played it on both PC & console.
- Loved TS3 for gameplay.
- Took a long hiatus between 3 & 4 and only got into 4 about 18 months ago?
- I stuck with The Sims 2 for years after everyone else moved on to The Sims 3.
- I eventually played TS3, but only for 1 year.
- I've been playing TS4 for only about 4 years.
- Was a great builder in TS2. Not that good in TS4.
- Horror movie fan.
- Candyman, the first horror movie I ever saw.
- Halloween, bc Michael is my fav og film villain.
- Horror films directed by James Wan, bc he can make me jump.
- Movies & shows created by Mike Flanagan, because they're usually A++.
