I'm wondering if the resistance to wind turbines is similar to the resistance to seatbelts. People refused to wear seatbelts because it was a constant reminder that driving a car is in fact dangerous. Wind farms are a visual reminder that electricity isn't magic, it has to be generated somewhere.
