15. Mother 3
I found myself enamored with how this game manages to balance the quirky, eccentric vibes of the Mother series with a genuinely powerful story about grief, loss, and capitalism. Totally get the hype and it’s a new all-timer for me

Great co-op game with a lot of neat ideas and a unique story. I could not be made to care about the characters at all, though, and the pacing isn’t as smooth as It Takes Two. I would absolutely recommend it, regardless! Will definitely be a gaming highlight this year
An absolute masterpiece of a game. I did take issue with some gameplay and story choices, but overwhelmingly, my time spent with this game was in a state of pure disbelief. I can easily call this one of the all-time greats of RPGs, and video games at large.
TDA has me conflicted on almost every element of it, but I’m ultimately convinced it’s a great game. It didn’t quite captivate me in the same way the previous entries managed to, which I think is indicative. Overall, I’m just happy the devs got to experiment a bit.
