Labeling can be useful when it fosters understanding & support, but I’ve found it also opens up a tendency to reduce people to an object with tags & that can be harmful especially if it attracts the worse tendencies in others…

Others, but… it’s human nature to see people first as objects with labels as our brains use labels & categories to quickly simplify a complex world, but this shortcut also leads to oversimplification and dangerous bias… it’s learned behavior that matures a person out of these shortcuts…
Exactly. Humans are always prone to bias, so denouncing labels completely avoids the necessary acknowledgement that there will always be two sides to the coin - utopia isn't possible nor would it be successful - so basically, if peope wanna use labels, go for it. LOL
our brains naturally categorize and label to process information efficiently. While we can’t eliminate bias or labeling, increasing awareness helps us minimize harm and use labels more thoughtfully. No perfect solutions—just progress!
