Tomorrow is also the 40th Anniversary of one of my favorite movies - Splash! My mermaid fascination started young, around 3 years old, so my grandparents played Splash for me when they'd watch me sometimes. This movie had me CONVINCED that mermaids actually existed for YEARS.
