And? What does contempt do? The judges can't enforce it, and Congress has signaled they are not willing to do anything. So what's next? A state making it illegal to deport immigrants without trial, and SCOTUS recognizing the state is following the law, and the executive branch is not? Good luck

The frustrating thing for many of us non-lawyers is how long this takes. The judge asks for info; DOJ's responses evade answers. So the judge gives them chance after chance after chance to answer. Justice delayed is justice denied. Trump ran out the clock on his court cases; look how that's going.
