So PSSR 2 will be am implementation of FSR4. Could be a good thing. I'm still holding out on the pro model until I see a wider range of improvements on current and past games...and maybe a price for cut 😭😭

It sounds to me like they're going to train a new PSSR model using the same training techniques that FSR4 used to build that model, but with a different hardware architecture being targeted. Architecture development and training will take some time before they update PS5 Pro to support it.

Why is PSSR not a system level function that games call upon, rather than a function with an implementation version that resides within a single software version? Product validation is not a good reason to reject antialiasing measures. That should take place on the PSSR development side.
