Actually in 1933 they were already demanding that companies fire Jews. Not at all. This is part of the reason IRS taxpayer info sharing is a big deal. These people work and pay taxes so they have money to survive.

IRS info allows ICE to check for anyone who hasn't registered, say "you broke the law," then deport them.

That is why I left with my family last month! It just starts with one group until it affects certain groups. With my 13 year old being transgender and 12 year old gender fluid, plus husband and i both are veterans we felt like it’s not safe and our duty is to our kids only now.

From my generation at University in Belgrade (electrical engineering) when Yugoslavia started to fall apart in 1980-1990s about 80% left the country with families and settled all over the world. Very few came back. Kids definitely did not.
It is a shock but for kids is much easier. They will adapt

So our process was more rushed, I felt like we couldn’t wait for our tax refund to get a passport for me and my husband and our 5 kids. My husband is a paramedic in the United States, we just got our work permits so he can hopefully start soon. No family at all. We are refugee claimants.
