The East-West Rail line from Oxford to Bletchley saw its first passenger train today, the ‘Verney Venturer’ charter hauled by two early-60s Class 33 locomotives. Regular services are expected to begin this summer but no date has yet been announced.

The first charter train to travel between Bletchley and Bicester since the 1990s. ✅️

We travelled over East West Rail through the new platforms at Bletchley and the completely new station at Winslow. They should be opening this year!
