Oh no yeah we didn't accrue sick days so I got 5 and it was use them or lose them or dip into PTO. I was adamant to myself that I wouldn't sacrifice vacation days for that so I worked sick or burnt out the rest of the days. Not healthy but yeah.
Yeah I hate the idea of losing PTO to cover being sick. My PTO is for leisure, damn it! Working from home does make working ill or burnt out a little easier. Not great but. 🤷🏼♀️
