not one of Taylor's better moves during what was an excellent first stint as manager, as Cascarino turned out to not be the missing piece up front to push us to the title that season. In fact looking back he was barely an improvement on the likes of Olney

worse still he destabilised a tight format and we lost our way completely, so frustrating to watch in real time, looking back it was just utter folly but for all GT's merits he was obsessed with the big man up front. 100% we'd have been better off without Cascarino.
