A friend of mine has three kids. Her oldest child is married to a Caribbean immigrant. Her middle child is transgender. Her youngest child is profoundly disabled and relies on Medicaid.

Her entire family voted for Trump. They truly do not understand until it happens to them.

Here in Alberta it is glaringly obvious that Canada has the same awful cruelty as well - and it’s not just in Alberta. The majority are not there, but for years public servants have been derided. Racism and all the other isms were mostly hidden until Trump. Now it’s freed.We must fight that as well.
