Fico almost bled to death, survived 5h emergency surfery, second look surgery, ICU stay and spend 2 weeks in a hospital. Such trauma and its sequele can leave holes in your brain.
Not to mention PTSD.
His extreme care about his health and shape might be also result of the assassination attempt.
Another question is if his paranoia will target also closer colleagues. Or how they perceive changes in his personality.
The same pistol round designed in 1901 making this exact wounds in 1946 medical reality would be lethal for him while being survivable in 2024.
