I definitely think that's part of the problem. Anytime I talk to anyone who either isn't informed or only watches right-wing news, they have no idea what's actually going on.

I don't recommend FOXnews exposure, but just doing a cursory look (in incognito mode for the sake of your browser algorithm) tells you a lot about the lack of info. DOGE/Musk/mass firings are barely mentioned. And usually under the rubric of ending DEI.

I didn't get that deep into it. I just explained Elon Musk was being paid by the president to find "waste" and that including things like special ed, science funding, national park service etc. They didn't say much.

My mom thought Jan 6th didn't go far enough so yeah. Little bit of deaf ears there
