Oh my god, I just realized the line from the teaser that's mentioned to be said by Tonowari, "We can not face this enemy that comes from the stars" is from the scene between him and Jake in the OG A2 script. Holy shit.

Called it when I read the script over a year ago!
It's a great scene but it doesn't fit in THE WAY OF WATER when that is Lo'ak's story and there's no reason (yet) for Tonowari to ask Jake to become a leader again.
These films are so much better written than people give them credit for.
These films take place on a faraway planet with a continually shrinking human cast and yet we're never confused over what a character is thinking cause the writing is that strong.
Love it so much
