Artikel 17 verpflichtet Plattformen dazu, Moderationsentscheidungen nachvollziehbar & spezifisch zu begründen. D.h.: Nutzer*innen haben das Recht zu erfahren, warum etwa ihr Beitrag entfernt & welche Regel konkret verletzt wurde. Das ist Grundlage dafür, sich wirksam gegen Beschränkungen zu wehren.

When platforms shutdown accounts, or content, EU law says they must give a reason; but most of the time platforms are super vague - 3 / 4 times Instagram will say content is remove for "General violation of platform rules"

The reason they gave me was "suspicious activity" which translated to them suddenly deciding, after several years of me having my account without issue, that they wanted more of my PII and were holding my account hostage to get it.

'Course I'm not EU, but can't be the only one they pulled that on.

Protect our constitutional rights to vote!
Tell Congress to say No to the SAVE Act today!

It basically requires many to have expensive Passport ID; it makes vote by mail & registration difficult; & it has potential for intimidation when changing party affiliation.

US needs Free & Fair Elections!

Please contact your Senator to insist they Oppose the SAVE Act! It should be dropped as unconstitutional, essentially being a poll tax.

Instead, let's remove voter suppression (Greg Palast) & secure our elections from enemies, both foreign & domestic (Election Truth Alliance).
