Someone suggested that indie authors are disproportionately pantsers (compared to trade, I guess?) Is that accurate?
I'm NOT saying anything negative about pantsing (or planning, for that matter), just wondering if that's a commonly accepted truth.

I'm a pretty hardcore plotter myself. Doesn't mean I don't revise the synopsis or outline but...in order to turn out stuff like The Cost of Power, I have to plot.
Also, it's not, like, important. I'm just curious.
I am a plotter through and through, so I've always felt like the odd one out whenever my fellow indies talk about how they're total pantsers 😂
To borrow a term I heard from TBRCon this year, I'm a "milestoner." I plan major plot points and hit them, but how I get there isn't set.
