We have to listen to this shit every week because the club have let it drag on I know Hughes or Edwards didn't inherit the mess but to not at least have one of the three tied down coming into December is a pisstake.

I've held back from needlessly pointing fingers at FSG as overall (imo) they've done a good job with the club but I really wish they'd wrap these contracts up ASAP.

My guess is that his agent is taking the piss on wages and contract length, using a Saudi offer in the summer as a benchmark, and the club is trying to gradually bring it down to something affordable. It's easy to portray the other side of a negotiation as a 'bad guy' when the other side can't talk.
