Stocking up on non-perishable.
Rearranging out investments.
Stopping all home cosmetic renovations.
Still debating getting a gun.
Fortunately, we own our home and newer cars outright, so we're not concerned about losing those.
Today I walked through the Old Boston Statehouse to ask the ghosts of our brave patriots to please help us… following the chronological exhibit actually gave me courage… against all odds, they formed a powerful resistance that even King George could not contain.
Selling my little retirement home in Florida, trying to find an affordable place to live. Canceling my spouses postal retirement health coverage for me because for 2 people 600 bucks is too much. Realizing I likely won't get social security or Medicare. Is it even worth trying? Sorry, you asked.
I retired in 2019. My company plan cost me $900 monthly. I canceled it and got my wife a ACA plan for $500. At this point you just pray for continuous health.
Bought garden seeds at a local co-op today for 75 percent off. Plan on doubling the size of my garden this spring. Looking for a blue state to move to.
Way out of my budget - the only reason I'm in a red state is because I can afford to live here. Living on social security eliminates many states and many choices.
I didn't know I have a bridge phobia till I moved here 🤦I do have some spinal cord issues that really mess with my driving too-oh how I HATE that damn bridge!!
Not sure. Deleted all of my social media except for this site. Probably work on reading more, hobbies and spending time with my kids. Right now I’m a little too pissed to do anything else. 🤷🏻♀️ Head down and lots of hugs!
I am worried about my 401K in the next 4 years - I plan on retiring in 2030 and I know the elected mofo is going to ruin the market and destroy America!!!
Stocking up on food and toilet paper. Preparing for it to be as bad as Covid. And, my husband bought a gun for the first time in our 20+ year marriage.
