Watching President Carter’s casket in front of the Navy Memorial, the intense cold and wind, the cleared streets, reminds me of Inauguration Day in 1961. Also brilliantly cold. The National Guard had to help blast the snow away. John Kennedy addressed the crowd w/o an overcoat.
