Why? It was the first time I played it as I only owned the original RE4 on Gamecube, and I heard good things about it. But it was like... a half-assed mini reverse campaign. Was incredibly disappointing after years of hearing how good it was.
If you know anything about the story lines TOTK is a giant 10,000 year timeloop that encapsulates the much shorter 100 year time loop of BOTW so technically ToTK is the main content. 🤷🏼♂️
Nominated and winning are two different things. If the other games are better then surely they would beat a DLC even if that DLC more robust, a gameplay and visual feast, and way better of a value than most games that come out these days.
Apparently, they are lifting this rule. I have a love hate relationship with DLC. It can add fun to a game, but more often than not, it's just greed and pointless.
Yakuza/Like a Dragon is a series that reuses the same main location in nearly every one of its games and spin-offs. Which your PFP and banner are from. Just saying.
i was gonna dig into you but then u saw your response. also DLC can be nominated and that was clarified this year but i dont think dlc should be able to be nominated

I for once am free from the GOTY discussions
The last great Zelda game was Minish Cap. Everything since has been pretty good, but nowhere near GOTY material 🤷♂️
2. Can run independently of base game
3. Can start with out ever playing BotW
4. Profit, but only for Nintendo
I get it, but hate it.
Same for miles morales I guess
