I'm not into gacha games at all, but even then I tried giving a chance to Genshin Impact some time ago (dropped pretty soon lol), but I feel like I can't do the same with 5X at all, even tho I like the series
It just looks so "corporate" if you get me, it has no personality nor soul imo
Tbh I feel like that with all the character gacha games. I feel like the sole nature of the medium that needs to keep popping up characters every now and then makes it feel dull to me personally even if the designs are objectively good. Now about p5x specifically I can't really
do a valid opinion since I played for 10 mins so I have no clue aside from how much I hate the graphics and how bad my first impression of the protagonist is imo. And also how overall I definitely don't like the character designs at all

Yes but since it's a paid and console/pc only game the chances of that happen are way lower yk? And even then strikers has joker as a protagonist and is an actual sequel not a weird thing alternate universe whatever whatever p5x has going on 💔💔

the alternate universe is better for new people if they for some reason decide to play it first, bc then atleast they aren’t ACTIVELY spoiling themselves on p5, atleast from what I know of

except the only reason this happened is because I couldn't afford p5 back then + I got strikers for free and by the time I got it I already knew about the series and a lil bit of p5's story
i kind of felt the same with project sekai being people’s first encounter with vocaloid as i’ve seen people have Interesting Takes on the vocaloids there (even though now i like the game quite a bit). may be a case in the future where the block button is your friend
I'm personally passing on it because I know how it feels to get ruined by gacha games. Buying a gift card every week just to get extra pieces to unlock a character...yeesh
Omg same 😭 but i heard positive things about p5x gacha system though. In any case I just want one (1) character for sure and then maybe Ann and the rest of the pts which get released with many time between them so I don't think it's gonna be an issue for me

P5 already covered the story it wanted to tell and the themes it wanted to talk about, and so P5X just doing it all again feels like it has no point at all
It just feels like a cheaper and more watered down P5
the graphics (esp for the character models) are also kinda disappointing imo, esp with how pretty the character arts are
i'll see a really pretty character art and go to check out the model and the quality decrease is insane :(

remember, there were people who played persona 5 strikers (a sequel) before they played persona 5 because strikers came on switch first
