I think it has to be across the board. I see variations of these kinds of posts all over.

- Artists frustrated with authors for using AI covers/promotions.
- Authors being frustrated with Artists using text
- VAs being frustrated with authors creating audio books with AI voices
- Etc.

We're not part of closed circuits, but are reliant & dependent on one another.

Please support other creatives (and industries) knowing they need a job as much as you do. Especially if they have to pay you for your services.

Deadass some uncomfortable matrix level stuff. People just cannot wrap their heads around that that is an automatic response robot that cannot care for them with the same love that real friends have.

As a fanfic writer for ao3 and writer by job i highly approve of this. Ai often just steals works from people and someone deadass copied away like half of one of my fics to use in c. ai scripts and i had to fry them alive with a lawyer before they removed it. I am being PAID to do some of the fics.

It's honestly so disappointing how quickly folks normalized using those character ai apps, even while being vocally anti-ai art. Especially as someone who's been part of an RP community for over a decade — writing with a real person is so much more engaging and it doesn't trash the environment 🫠

FOR REAL!! I'm an avid/frequent roleplayer too and just the creativity and phenomenal writing that some of my partners have come to me with could never, ever be replicated by a machine that only knows how to piece together hundreds of stolen concepts.

Right?? Like, there's so much complexity you can put into RP, not to mention the social aspect of creating a work with someone else. Meanwhile people gotta talk to the ai like it's a dog or something just to make sure it remembers how to be the character. 🙃
