I guess it's how we (digital first folks) differentiate what "we do" vs what "they do" (traditionally).. when I have inhouse PR teams no longer asking me about the value of Links then I will stop using the term

Yeah it's a practicality thing for sure. I try and use PR vs Digital PR so PR is the default and Digital is the append.

I hope those questions go away soon though haha (one day)

Both Digital PR and Traditional PR are silly terms tbh. I wish the industry decided on a different term for what we do than Digital PR but it’s far too baked in at this point.
