Did not manage to get it to boot "blindly", knowledge of the cursedness of android firmware for related SoCs did not help. Had to open it after all to look for UART pins.

This was HARD. Thankfully plastic clips, not glued glass, but holy shit these were the toughest plastic clips ever.

Board. Sadly no labeled UART points. Bunch of unlabeled test pads on the back, mooostly corresponding to connectors. But maybe I could find TX by touching all of them..?

Back to the mt8183 tablet: probed all those test pads on the back of the board and indeed none seem to be UART TX.

On the other hand, decompiling LK reveals what exactly it expects from the device tree…
