I was raised by my elderly gran, we didn't have fancy fangled potato peelers at home, so I peeled a potato (perfectly) with a knife during home-ec class and got a punishment exercise for it. ☹️ My gran went to Tesco and bought a potato peeler after that day. She was an angel
