You know, I thought that by dropping twitter I’d see a drop in sales in the shop. Turns out, using a platform that doesn’t suppress links makes it a lot easier for people to buy things

It's so bizarre to see Nazism given credence again, access to all of your social security, go through and cut off all of the guys with black sounding names first. All the government contracts of his competitors, etc. Cut those contracts and substitute as the financial recipient, SpaceX, w/white out!
I wish more people understood this. Meta and twitter will no longer be the same. You will not get the same reach over time. It’s best to start over on bluesky instead of keep supporting a platform who wants to see you suffer.
I got literally zero engagement or new followers on twitter. Just screaming into the void. I didn't particularly care, but it's been nice here actually being seen once in a while. Absolutely certain my posts were suppressed over there because they didn't conform to king Elon.
On Meta my FB page has over 500,000 followers for over 3years and lost almost all engagement with original posts after they redid their Page 💩. I refused to pay for ads/subscribers and my circulation tanked. I am done w/ Meta. Deleting FB today, deleted IG/ Threads last week cuz the Metafuckery
Yep, even as a general user on FB, its been an absolute pain. Posts from friends and pages I follow seem to be regularly hidden on the feed, in favour of pushing what feels like dozens upon dozens of random groups, 'promoted' posts and sponsored ads in your face...

I’ve had more web traffic on my site since joining BlueSky. It has been a blessing.
No other social media has given me this momentum. 🙏
I also have 5 times as many Bluesky followers and more likes and “retweets” here than I ever did there.
With far less users.
I'll buy something and I'll be in NYC 19-20 if can deliver it to my hotel and I'll take it back , so I don't pay 25% extra
Just giving you the nod that some of your traffic is spawning organically from feed.
