The really neat thing is that even just writing it down defuses it and I no longer feel the impulse in my brain. I am truly of a modest Pavlovian mind 😌
During the pandemic, to wean myself from doomscrolling, I started keeping poetry books with me at all time. Even when my attention is fractured, I can focus for the brief span of a poem. And hopefully then another poem.
In this way I tried to change that impulse of reaching for phone to a book.
My other only real productivity hack is that I use the Bullet Journal system (modified to fit my needs ofc) and it’s the only organizer that has really worked for me. I’ve used organizers since elementary school and tried Franklin Planner and Focus Planner—both great but not for me.
