Listened today. Agree with you. Finally to hear the truth. Musk / others aren’t interested in the victims.
But also interesting to hear the journalist’s view and perhaps does raise the need for some form of Pakistani ethnic group reflection on why these men from this group particularly took part?

@thenewsagents.com This was just excellent. I remember reading Andrew Norfolk's reports. This podcast cut through all the recent toxic nonsense, contextualised the original findings, cleared up (deliberate) confusions. Maybe get @bindelj.bsky.social as a followup.

A great episode indeed. I feel like I know much more about it now. I must have missed a lot of the details originally... probably a result of living in Jon's favorite part of the world. I was almost shocked by the police arresting the girls... almost, but not quite.

I thought he was particularly good on the squeamishness of covering this difficult topic and how he had to overcome it. Essential listening for liberals and conservatives alike. And for all to understand the current cynical exploitation of this by some politicians/Musk
