He could pay 1000 people $1M/year for the rest of his life to cater to his every whim. (docs, lawyers, meatshields) Maybe the luxury will kill him, but otherwise he'll be fine.
I’ve seen this sentiment a few times. Can you help me understand why? I mean, I’m hopeful, but I just want to understand what folks think is going to happen.

I share this view. Not only is he destroying government infrastructure, he's destroying his own. Unless someone pulls him out - but who would. No one really cares that much about him.

Also: given the US is becoming more like Russia, oligarchs here will have reduced lifespans, just like their oligarchs.
