It is absolutely wild to me that one can be anti-vaccines, but ok with all the things we can do to you in a hospital, e.g., risk going on a ventilator or ECMO or needing pressors, central lines, catheters, rectal tubes and all manner of meds and their side effect. When you could get a vaxx instead.

I’m aware of an infant who suffered permanent brain damage from measles. Her exposure was being in ‘well child’ half of peds waiting room when non-vax mom brought her kid in to ‘sick child’ side who had measles. If you don’t vax accept consequences at home

That poor baby. Babies can’t get the vaccine until 12 or 15 months (I have a 14 month old and checked), so it’s 100% on the unvaccinated child’s parents.

Actually babies can get it down to 6 months, but it isn’t a durable enough dose, so they need another dose after 1. But that is the routine in countries where measles has continued to be endemic. Hope that doesn’t become the norm here.

these are questions I find you can reason through with the majority of the parents IF given sufficient time. We no longer have sufficient time thanks to all the stupidity promulgated by our "leaders"
so now the children suffer. hopefully the parents of dead kids direct their vengeance appropriately.

Parents are easily manipulated. I know, I have 3 children. You even hear something that makes you think you are hurting your child and you second guess it. My children are vaccinated annually as well as I am but I have a PhD in infectious diseases. We need more moms showing support for vaccines.

Yes. I was a research scientist (basic science integrin signaling) when my babies were born. My friends who were educated but not scientists were all being lead down paths especially by Dr. Sears to delay/deny vaccines. It was so hard because they treated me like I didn’t understand science.
