I'm sticking to what I said. Even if a piece of art can be considered to be in bad taste, it should still exist. Should we retroactively delete every piece of edgy art of the last 80 years, and every year the political landscape changes?

I mean it doesn't exist because the artist took it down due to backlash, they got said backlash because they drew something abhorrent. Were people supposed to not have a strong reaction to seeing nazi imagery? If the artist didn't want that, they shouldn't support nazis

But I do agree that some artists should grow a backbone and keep their stuff up through the backlash

If they weren't supporting nazis then what were they doing? They certainly weren't denouncing them. You have to draw the line somewhere, a lot of people were and will be hurt due to the normalization of this ideology.

I think if you're gonna draw a Nazi, draw them getting their shit beaten. Anything less can be seen as support, especially since it's Miku "carrying them to safety" which can totally be interpreted as in support to Nazis

Taking down a piece of art is not the same thing as destroying said art. It still exists on this person's hard drive and has probably already been downloaded. Also, nobody forced this person to take down the post they chose to do that. They could have just taken down their Nazi posts.
