I didn't realize Mononoke was that old! I was surfing netflix (I think?) A few months back and it popped up, it's been on my list to watch for a while. I'll have to watch it before the movie then!

the original 3-ep OVA was released in an antho series called "Ayakashi" under the title "Bakeneko" in 2007. It spun off into the 12-ep Mononoke. Recommend both OVA and the series!
