I guess what offends me about AI support service is I have an internal standard of "are they capable of being more helpful than Clippy" and the answer is always no

clippy at least never throws you off on wildly irrelevant tangents in my experience. if he simply does not know how to help you, you will know quickly!!
Just dealt with one at Dell. Asked a simple question "have they received my order" In the end it gave up and put me through to a real person who was fantastic.
