People should look to their elders who lived through times before vaccines were available. Though anecdotal, perhaps they’re more tangible than any graph.

Everyone needs to research their family history and see how many members of their own family died before vaccines. It's heartbreaking when you realize death dates are within days of each of other & think of the parents losing multiple children (or their spouses/parents/siblings) so close together.
